Hi there, my name is Linda and I’m a former travel agent and an avid amateur photographer living on the west coast of Canada. In my blogs, I’ll try and provide useful tips, as well as some personal experiences to help you with your travel plans.
Back in high school I enjoyed journalism and even became editor of our school newspaper. At that time it was a lot of typing, cutting, and gluing. What a thrill it was to see the finished product! I still get that thrill when I finish a blog and can sit back and feel good about what I’ve accomplished. They may not be perfect, but hopefully they leave you inspired to travel somewhere new, or just get outdoors and explore a garden, a park, or a hike nearby.
Growing up I was fortunate enough to travel to England with my family and take a European bus tour upon graduation with my mom. These trips definitely left me with the travel bug, and now I can’t get enough of discovering new places. I love England, where my mother’s roots are, and I recently got my British citizenship, making me a very proud Canadian-British citizen.
I still have quite the list of places I want to see…Italy, Africa, New Zealand, Croatia, Ireland…so I hope to be doing this for years to come!
Enjoy! And thanks for checking out my site! Linda
