What a Decade it’s Been…

I decided to have a look back at all my travels during the last decade and post some pictures from my blogs. What an amazing 10 years it has been…and do I ever feel fortunate to have been able to discover some truly spectacular places! So here are some of my highlights.

Camping…we started off the decade with a camping trip to Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park which borders both Alberta, Canada and Montana, U.S.A. This place is beyond beautiful and I would certainly love to make another trip back here.

We also did some cruising and were fortunate to be able to discover both Alaska and the Western Caribbean this way. What a great way to travel and discover numerous places in a short amount of time, while having all your meals and accommodation taken care of!

Ketchikan was definitely one of the more interesting ports in Alaska

Doing a roadtrip was the perfect way to explore Arizona and this state wowed me with all it had to offer…from desert in the south, to the stunning rock formations of Sedona, to the Grand Canyon in the north.

Travelling farther from home I got to discover Bali…

and Costa Rica…

and Spain.

Alcazar in Seville
Alhambra in Granada

Towards the end of the decade there was a trip to Hawaii to relax and enjoy the sun, as well as explore the islands of Kauai and Maui…

…and a visit to England to see relatives and spend some time in the city of Bath.

Throughout the decade while staying in Canada there were trips to Saskatchewan…

Victoria…

and the Okanagan for some winery tours.

What a decade it has been! Here’s to more adventures!
